How did Wolfestone Group start?
Wolfestone Group was founded in 2006 by two entrepreneurs. Its intention was, and still is, to raise the standards of the global language services industry, to be innovative in devising solutions and ethical in dealing with all stakeholders.
Today, Wolfestone Group is an award-winning, full-service provider of professional language solutions that encompasses four specialist companies, incorporating translation and localization; multimedia services including multi-lingual voice over, subtitling and captioning services and language training.

The Wolfestone Group story
- 2006: Wolfestone Group Translation was founded by Anna Bastek and Roy Allkin.
- 2008: Wolfestone Group's first overseas office was opened in Germany.
- 2009: Roy Allkin is appointed Chair of industry body the ATC.
- 2012: Anna Bastek wins UK Director of the Year (SME).
- 2014: Wolfestone Group launched sub-brand, VoiceBox.
- 2015: Alex Parr appointed Managing Director.
- 2016: Wolfestone celebrates its 10-year anniversary.
- 2017: Wolfestone Group announced the acquisition of RLI
- 2019: Wolfestone opens an office in Romania.
- 2020: Wolfestone Group acquired language training company City Lingual.
- 2020: Wolfestone Group breaks record for highest revenue month ever two months consecutively.
- 2022: Launched in Germany as Wolfestone Deustschland.
Leading The Industry
Wolfestone Group is an accredited member of the American Translators Association (ATA); Association of Translation Companies (ATC) and the European Union of Associations of Translation Companies (EUATC), who each insist on minimum levels of professionalism and quality.
Wolfestone Group also holds independently verified international standards ISO 17100:2015 and ISO 9001:2015.
