Wolfestone shortlisted for Chamber of Commerce awards

Dynamic Swansea-based business Wolfestone Translation has once again been nominated for highly prestigious awards.
Dynamic Swansea-based business Wolfestone Translation has once again been nominated for highly prestigious awards. This time, the company itself has been nominated for the Chamber of Commerce Business of the Year award, and Operations Director Roy Allkin has himself been nominated for the Entrepreneur of the Year award. Both awards attract keen competition every year, and this year again the winners will have richly deserved their awards for emerging victorious in categories where every nominee would be a worthy winner. Wolfestone is hoping to gain the accolade in the Business of the Year award due in part to its tremendous growth over the last couple of years, achieved during the worst recession for many generations, but also in part due to its forward thinking strategy of taking full advantage of advances in technology and investing in staff which has helped it stand out from other translation agencies and facilitated this growth. The award also places great merit on future objectives, and Wolfestone is also making the running in this category with its international expansion plans. Wolfestone Germany is thriving, and expansion into the Middle East and American markets is planned for the forthcoming year. Furthermore, Roy Allkin is hoping to take home the Entrepreneur of the Year award. This will be presented to the businessman or woman whose personal qualities have enabled their businesses to prosper in these most difficult of times. His highly dynamic team leadership and commercial skills have contributed to Wolfestone’s phenomenal development and growth. He said of both awards “Wolfestone entered the Awards because we feel it is important that the hard work and dedication of our staff, interns, and associates should be recognised and rewarded. We firmly believe that Wolfestone is an exceptional company; our commitment to quality, value, professionalism, ethics and environmental and corporate responsibility distinguish us from the crowd.” “The vision, drive, determination and innovative use of technology has made Wolfestone a rapidly growing international success! I am also very proud on a personal level to have been nominated for the entrepreneurial award and I truly believe that a very enjoyable double victory may be the outcome on the 24th of September”. Director Anna Bastek added: “I’m incredibly proud of Wolfestone and what we have achieved in such a short period of time. Having won numerous business awards as well as being the youngest translation company to chair the UK Association of Translation Companies means a lot to us and to our customers. We aim to raise the standards of the translation industry and also to encourage local businesses to think big and see opportunities. Being in the finals of the prestigious Chamber of Commerce Awards is yet more proof that having the right strategy, commitment and hard work can only result in success”.
