Wolfestone founder tells story of determination and success

Wolfestone founder, Anna Bastek, was featured in an article by the Evening Post which looked at her career history and how she got to managing a multimillion pound company.When Anna Bastek first came to the UK all she had was her suitcase and vision of success. She kick started her marketing career with a 10 week GoWales placement in a small electronics company. Anna quickly picked up the job and helped it grow.When she started building up her own businesses, she learned that she had to be self-confident and determined.“I faced a lot of barriers when setting up my own company including no start-up funds and having English as a second language,’’ she says now.“Nobody in my family had ever run their own business; it was very difficult during communism. Initially they were discouraging me from quitting my job and going full time with my business.
